Overview

One of our most versatile calls, the Ol’ Yeller™ Mouth Call produces the sound of a mature hen that will have that tom running to you. Produce loud, raspy yelps, cuts, and clucks to get the gobbler’s attention at a distance and draw it back with soft purrs when he gets up close.

TECHNIQUE:

1. Place the call in the roof of your mouth with the printed K&H logo on top and the reeds facing out. 

2. Place your tongue against the reeds, then apply pressure. 

3. Push air from your throat to produce notes.  

Yelp: With pressure applied to reed, say the words "chick" or "chuck" with even rhythm.  
Cluck: With pressure applied to reed, say the word "puck" with even rhythm.  

If the call feels too large for your mouth, trim tape up to 1/16".
