BAG/ APPLES

Packaged in clear plastic bags.

Deer prefer sweeter varieties. Yellow and Golden Delicious, Gala, or Fuji apples are high-status treats for them. Tart apples like Granny Smith will still be eaten later in the winter when food sources get scarce and the apples soften.

Many states or specific counties have strict bans on "baiting" or "feeding" wild deer to stop the spread of diseases like Chronic Wasting Disease (CWD) and Bovine Tuberculosis, always check your states DNR guidelines.
